Hit the Deck
Purpose: Increased Endurance
Equipment: Whistle
Description
- Identify a distance (i.e.: 50 m) for students to swim.
- Identify how they are to swim or chich stroke to use.
- Tell students that they are the engine to make a ship go.
- whenever you yell, “Hit the deck,” or blow your whistle everyone needs to swim underwater for a minimum of 5 seconds to avoid enemy fire.
